What's wrong with their feathers?

I've never seen this, as well. Those birds are beautiful.

I wish you luck breeding them. I'd love to see them populate.
 
They are very pretty birds. I sent you a PM last year about getting eggs. I'd still like to have some eggs sometime.
 
Still so adorable.... I can't wait till one of my game hens go broody in the spring... I have to find the cash for a few of those!!!

Congratulations! I appreciate serendipity, wherever it pops up. I guess by definition, you never knw where it will pop up. I'm not after eggs, but I am really excited for you! I can't wait to bust through a crowd at a show someday to find everyone gawking at a splash silkied Ameraucana!
 
The adults really are nice looking. I have been waiting to see new pics of them. Congrats on the pretty birds. Now you just need to get your hands on some smooth-feathered Black and Blue Ameraucana to breed with them...
