I have a quick question too. I don't want to cut into the answer you are waiting for though.

I got my first Ameracauna egg yesterday. Thank Heavens! Question is, I have never heard the Roo crow or try to breed. Do the Roos take longer to mature or am I just not catching him. If the hen is laying and mature, wouldn't he be too?

It is day 22. Nothing from the other 9 eggs.

No, no, no .... NOT green eggs! These are BLUE eggs! Beautiful blue eggs!

It is still wet and slimey. I can see it is splash though. I will post pictures when they are dry and fluffy!
