anyone have silkied americana eggs? how much do they cost? can u ship? my incubator is not up and running, but soon it will be. when i saw green eggs my jaw dropped and now the chicken that makes them is silkied! whats next? thanks for any and all help!

i don't care about eggs being blue. i just wanted to know if any of u breeders of these beautiful birds would sell me some eggs and what the cost would be. my mom (the budget keeper) told me i could buy some eggs if the "price is right". lol so pls let me know asap.

In the next several months I imagine some of the others will have eggs for sale, and the F1 outcrosses will have started laying as well. By this time next year, it should be relatively easy to get these birds, or at least split birds that can be used to breed them.

I wanted to post some updated pictures of Kathy's Babies both Pure and F1's. They are growing so fast!

Here are both Pure and F1 together. This beautiful dark blue F1 is such a sweet little wannabe mama. She always has the younger chicks gathered around her and watches out for them.

This is the other F1 who is a lighter blue with a Silkied sibling. They love to hang together!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is a Roo

And here are more just for fun!

This little girl is so shiny and glossy. Beautiful!
