I just got to hold them for the first time tonight. I've been good about letting the hatch complete. I got a MESS of seramas, and some polish/NN/silkie mutts (for a friend) to hatch.
Anyway, here's a blue F1 baby, and a splash silkied baby, from eggs from Julie. I will hopefully be hatching some wheaten crossed F1's soon, if my new roo will do his job. He has started dancing for the girls, but hasn't sealed the deal yet.

It looked like I was on track for more, but only 2 pipped, and then hatched. Hard to say... For once, I can say it wasn't any error on my part, as my big new incubator is PERFECT! I'm not bragging, it just works really really well (and should for the price). I didn't crack open the eggs to see what was going on with the embryos. I'm not sure what I could tell anyway.
I'm happy with the 2 I got. They will help the project, I'm sure.
