Great wolfpacker, now my stalkers are going to be hiding in the woods when I get there. Just kidding.

There was no actual battle at Fort Branch. The fort was built high on a "cliff" overlooking the Roanoke River. When yankee soldiers were coming down the river the rebels shot at them until they turned back. The Fort does have a massive field and the guys use it to simulate a battle for the spectators.
