Whats your problem!?

years ago I was getting on the highway from one direction and this young girl maybe 19 was getting on the ramp from the other direction. So I sped up so we wouldn't collide and got in front of her. She did not have to brake or even let up on the gas. So I get on the highway and get in the left hand lane.I'm just tooling along and all of a sudden there is a hundai right next to me in the right lane. I look over and its the girl , she has another girl for a passenger. So as I'm looking at her , she gets this weird look on her face and then she starts pulling into my lane.I couldn't believe it.She was trying to drive me off the road. I started laughing so hard cause I was driving my ford 150.So I started looked at her smiled and moved toward her little hundai. Wiped the look right off her face and it was replaced with PANIC!.At this point her passenger was screaming at her to pull back in her own lane.
I guess she expected me to freak out and drive off the road. She picked the wrong person. I hope she learned her lesson and doesn't try that again.

I love it! I'm sorry ladies but the next time a someone won't slow down and let you in as you merge onto the highway or change lanes? 9 times out of 10 it will be a woman. Women are very rude drivers.

That's a completely uncalled for and offensive statement. Generalizations like that are rude and frequently wrong.

ok... not only did I get stuck behind this guy once... not twice, but three times! I never felt so enraged as I did with this guys driving. I really WANTED to hit him... if only I drove my old van or truck, I would have driven him off the road.....I never wanted to hurt anyone as much as I did this guy, not even my EX!! lol!

So I'm driving down a paved back road, very hilly and curvy... going the speed limit. I catch up to a guy going 35 in a 55. I'm about a car n half length way, and when I hit a passing zone, i try to pass. What does he do? Speed up and pull into the other lane. So I go back into my lane......... he pulls back in front of me and slams his breaks on.. I try the same thing, try to pass, he pulls over to cut me off.. we do this 3 times... I'm on my cell phone trying to call the cops with the plate etc and of course there's no service. Luckily two times were close to my turn off and I go home highly ticked... but the third time.......I follow him to his home. I sit in the road in front of his house fuming... and he goes inside........so a couple weeks later I find out my DB bought the same farm this idiot lived in.... at least the idiot is gone now

. I'm glad in a way cause I'm afraid I'd have wrecked my car trying to hit him... a person like that NEEDs to be hit and driven off the road seriously hard!

I generally am good natured and patient. If people go the speed limit and follow basic courtisy I'm cool with that.
But... some of my pet peaves are:
Do not travel in the passing lane (thats the one on the left).
Do not go slower than traffic in the slow lane, in the passing lane.
Pull over if you can for merging traffic,
However mergers need to remember they are the one's who have to make accomodations, not those already on the hwy, they have the right of way not mergers.
If you want to drive slow, fine, please pull off the road and let the 20 cars behind you pass and you'll be on your merry way! Thank you!
Get off the phone when you're driving!
Watch out for motorcyclist!!
Do not allow a car out into traffic if they are trying to cross traffic to go the other way... #1, it's illegal, #2 someone totaled our vintage Harley Davidson and my DH's back when they allowed a car to cut through traffic and they slammed into his bike! (PS if you do this you could also be held legaly accountable). The woman's whole side of her car was smashed and she had to pay for the bike and all my DH's medical (motor cycle accident are "at fault" in MI, not like auto accidents which are no fault)

phew! I could go on! Must maintain control...

Yes, you should be sorry.............and my experience driving for the last 30 years doesn't really support that theory.

I HATE when I see butts thrown out the window. Its really the only time I want to pull up next to someone and flick them off!

Im guilty for traveling in the left lane but sometimes the people around here drive under so its just easier if I stay there..
But today I got PUSHED into doing 70 in a 55! I was trying to get over and had my blinker on but the person in the right lane was riding their front to my middle and everytime Id speed up to get over they would speed up too! I would have slowed down but there were 3 cars behind him and everytime I sped up the car behind me stayed right on my rear.
This is when Id love to break check!

Im sorry you are late for work but I get up early enough so I know I wont have any trouble getting where I need to be going! Please give yourself time! It might save a life

That's a completely uncalled for and offensive statement. Generalizations like that are rude and frequently wrong.

From a psychological standpoint, women are more likely to act upon anger instantly instead of waiting it out or letting it go.
There was a driving study done that had the majority of women experience road rage and act immediately upon that anger by cutting people off, tailgating, shining highbeams and generally being a rude driver. Men in the study were more likely to go out of their way to follow behind you or make an intimidation effort rather than take more drastic measures, and they were more likely to give up and let it go.
I can see where the generalization has value, although the 1 in 10 ratio seems skewed.

Men and women have the same potential to be rude drivers, although I can see where women can develop a greater sense of entitlement to things such as driving on the road. Being spoiled while she grows up, being taught that she can get her way just because she is a woman, and generally abusing her gender for preferential treatment gives people a weird sense of life. "I'm a woman so you have to let me merge into this lane even if I'm cutting you off and might cause an accident, because I'm a woman and women deserve special treatment."

Yeah... I like when men REV the engine when they finally do get past you. lol

Gee, the rude drivers I encounter are mostly men. I always thought it was because they were taught that they were more important and had the "I'm the man" attitude and think that they are entitled.

Tim, no flaming allowed. I'm a very good driver. Stereotyping is a big no-no. Trust me, bad drivers are not limited to the female sex. The only flip offs have been from men who were angry that I was obeying the traffic laws.
