Wheaten and Blue wheaten Marans Discussion Thread

Great reading your stuff Randy and Don.

My Orpington that was born on the same day as most of my Wheatens started laying eggs on Monday. Still nothing from the Wheatens and from what Randy says, I probably won't see anything till the end of January (Dec 1 was 6 months).

I wonder what would it would look like if I hatched one of those Orp's eggs as it would be her + the Wheaten rooster.

Randy, when you get time would you take a picture of the undercolor on the back of one of your darker and one of your lighter colored wheaten females. trying to see what others are working with and maye we can pick up something worth while from the pictures.
