Wheaten Crele Orpington Project, Reboot

Here's a few details on behavioral changes with Pea, the odd chick. She's more Feisty, & Flighty. She flies really well. She's high energy, & doesn't like to stay still.

Meaty, is very friendly, but will be soup one day. He has a great amount of fluffy loose feathers.

Mystery Boy, he's just a brat, he bites occasionally, & has a sassy type personality. Where he got the sassyness, I don't know.

Buffy, She's decently fluffy, with loose feathers, & more shy then typical Orpingtons I've had. She's also quite small for her age. Think she's alittle stunted from the worms she had, but she should catch up in growth eventually. Or she could just be really slow to mature.

Agree with @NatJ, bring the outside birds in and let them grow some to sdee if they are as advertised before culling the existing birds, who are quite attractive (in my inexpert view)

FIngers crossed on your NPIP certification!!!
What do you mean by Outside Birds?

What do you think of my Project Orpingtons so far? One of my Orps looks nothing like an Orpington.

"outside" as in from outside your flock...

and I'm still learning the breeds, so I don't have a good sense of what they should look like. In my mind, an Orp is a soft, heavy yellow bowling ball of feathers. I can't be more exact than that.
I believe NatJ was referring to the Heritage Buff Orpingtons I located.

The English Buff Orpingtons are Bowling Balls compared to the American Buff Orpingtons.
