Ok this golden laced Cochin bantam pullet just met this OEGB BbRed rooster and all heck broke loose these two sparred for 20 minutes 5 lost feathers and they finally settled down. This pullet is at the very bottom of the pecking order with the hens but man did he meet his match with her. She made me think she might be a rooster in hiding. That red comb has been that red from day 20, she is the same age as the OEGB rooster. Her coloring is all pullet and no saddle and it may look like rooster hackle feathers but it is not. Not pointed.

Anyone find this behavior strange for a pullet or is this she a he? Anyone care to guess?

She is also bigger then him in the pictures so it would make sense why she thinks she has the authority. You go girl! I love it when our little ladies turn from chicks to independent young hens!😅 They grow up so fast, I love her " don't mess with me unless I say so" kinda attitude, you raised her right!😆 She's really pretty, Avery
