I have (8) Buff Orpingtons hens and a black austorlorpe rooster. They just started laying eggs a few weeks ago and I would like to incubate a few of them. Are these eggs developed enough to hatch since the hens are young or does it matter? Should I wait longer to put them in the bator? I would like to have 4 more hens and love incubating chicks, but would hate to waste the time if I put them in too early. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
