When can chicks dust bathe?

My Chicks are a week and a half old...when can I put something in their brooder for them to dust bathe? they already try to do it in their food!!!

You can start anytime now. Some people use sand in a tray. Mine used to do it when I changed the bedding and it was fluffy and fresh.
