When did you start to wrinkle?

I started using a retinol product religiously when I was about 27 (Neutragena Healthy Skin), and think it's helped. I have crow's feet, but people at work act shocked when I tell them I'm 41.

48 and I have a few crows feet that show up when I laugh and a few lines between my brows. #1 reason I haven't wrinkled (nor have stretch marks from my pregnancies) - I avoid the sun, always.
Have never used any fancy creams on my face; just plain ol' Olay cream (original blend).
My skin is a whole lot looser than it was before my hysterectomy at age 31.

I started getting grey hairs at 17 but I really only have a couple of streaks of grey and it mostly looks like I have highlights since my hair is a light brown anyway. I just turned 31 this year and so far no wrinkles. I don't wear any make-up ever. I do put on moisterizer in the winter and I usually wear a hat or sunscreen if I am going to be out a lot in the summer.

My 26 yr old DD said just the other day ' Mom I'm getting wrinkles on my forehead!!!!' I couldn't see any. At 51 I have happy lines and sad lines and stress lines. Inevitable. Just a few grey's. But I look good, healthy and fit. My lines are a reflection of my life. They show that I have felt emotion in my life. Great love and hurt and everything inbetween! Own them. Age gracefully. Everyone gets their turn at every stage of life. But to slow the process Exercise - a body is meant to move, lotsa water, good food, moisturize and sunscreen!

The good news is that as the wrinkles start showing up the eyesight starts going so who cares!

I started going grey really early, like early 20's, probably around 21-22 and then significantly grey especially in my temples by mid 20's. Wrinkles though, I don't have any and I'm 40. I do have those lines somewhat between my brows, but no real wrinkles per se. The biggest thing I am self-conscious about though are bags on my upper eye-lids that have been forming the last few years. I seriously think I will go in and have those fixed eventually.

I don't have wrinkles yet...or gray. I can't remember my age sometimes though...I think I'm 34. Born 76....86...96...06..07..08..09...10 yep 34

Anyway, I think it has to do with genetics. My parents both still have mostly black hair, and mom is 61, pop is 68..WOW..he's 68...sheesh when did THAT happen? But yeah...genetics, aren't they lovely? Lucky for me all other bad genes will likely kill me before I get the chance to wrinkle and gray

That's not really all that funny come to think of it..

Major life stress definitely accelerated the aging process for me. It hit me almost overnight in my late 30's. I really mourn the graying of my copper colored hair.

But what is really alarming are the three large deep wrinkles on my left cheek. I have been moisturizing religiously and caring for my skin since I was 16. These particular wrinkles are the worst ones on my face and they are only on the left cheek. They are not "normal" wrinkles. Guess what I finally figured out? They are from constantly sitting with my left hand on my face! I didn't realize it, but I do this almost every time I'm sitting in front of a computer or in a class. In my late 30's I went back to graduate school and wham, the cheek wrinkles began to get deeper and more noticeable. It has taken me forever to figure out the cause. Who would have thought? I have been sitting that way for decades. In fact, now that I am aware of it it's driving me crazy. I have to "catch" myself every two minutes. I'm trying not to do at this very moment! My entire left cheek is now sort of "sunken" from pressing my hand continuously on the same spot and scrunching up my skin for so many hours a day over so many years.... I have always been a very strong believer in the natural look and embracing women's natural beauty. But darn if I'm not toying with the idea of restylane

I know exactly when I started to wrinkle.

When I bought my 8X magnifying mirror and took my glasses off and could see myself. Then, I put the mirror away.

I'm 38 and I have some wrinkles. 2 pretty noticeable ones on the inside of each eyebrow. Named after each of my ex-husbands. But, I have taken care of my skin, and my younger sister has a lot more than me. I've actually met her friends, and they all thought I was significantly younger than her. HA!!! Haven't found any gray hair yet, but my oldest son just turned 13 so I'm sure they'll be coming along any time now.
