When did your EEs start laying

So I wanna know when your Easter eggers started laying, what do u think they are mixed with, what do u feed them and plz post pics of your cute birds and beautiful eggs

EE because of their varied DNA have a wide range of egg laying onset - anywhere from 5 to 8 months. Feed an all flock feed with oyster shell on the side or a layer feed at egg laying onset.

TODAY!! Got the first egg today.

She is 16 weeks. It’s small but a cool blueish/olive color. I wasn’t expecting the first one for another 2 weeks.

Most of my EEs started at 16 weeks and some started a few months later, since it was right before winter.

I've been trying to figure out what my Cackle EEs are mixed with. They're flighty which made me think maybe there's leghorn in there? But slacking on the egg front, so maybe not. 24 weeks and no eggs yet! They were on grower and briefly switched to layer/grower mix with oyster shell free choice when my SS finally started laying a little over a week ago (I was thinking the other three were not far behind: 2 EEs + 1 BR all same age) but alas, no other eggs yet so I pulled back on the layer feed and kept the oyster shell out. I've been fermenting feed and giving protein-rich treats like mealworms.

Any guesses concerning lineage? Here are some pics of Blondie (sporting the splash look) and Meghan (would you call that brown/blue leakage? I'm a total novice on coloring..)

Anyone else have experience with Cackle EEs?
