When did your hen start laying

I think I heard her Squawking today i don't know she doesn't sound like my other hens [rhode island red+
Mixed breeds]
Is that a sign ??? :fl :bow


And The rooster is still molting he is now growing his adult feathers
He is still not crowing he only makes weird sounds when we heard him for the first time we didn't believe the sound came from him he sounds just like a small puppy !!

Wow great informative post i was searching the internet for wattle and comb development of BCM but didnt find anything
So big thank you !!

Its just that my hens wattle and comb are really small.... will they grow ? Shes already 5 months ?! And if they dont grow how can i tell when shes going to lay??

Yes, only one, I did expect it, but I'm sooooo happy and thankful
eveytime. When I typed graph earlier it appeared in a good readable format. But when I hit submit this is how it turned out

The comb and wattles will grow, I think towards the end of that thread I posted there's a pic of Wilma at a bit older age.


This is her about a month ago.
