One of my peahens has a nest of eggs that she has not yet decided to sit on...though she is acting like she is wanting
to. I thought I would give her another day or two to make up her mind but we have had a lot of rain lately and that
particular area, though it is inside the peafowl house, is susceptible to getting wet in a hard rain. How do eggs hold up in the wild
when they get wet from rain? Will the eggs be ruined? Since it is near the end of the laying season I thought I would let her
go ahead and hatch them if she has a mind to...but I am concerned about the rain. Anyone with any experience in this???
