I decided to give the white duckling some sugar water because it was quite weak. It kinda helped but it still just kinda hangs out and doesn't stand up straitThey probably won't eat and drink much the first 24 hours or so..that's what the yolk is for.
I wouldn't even bother with the sugar water unless one seems especially weak.
I use nutri drench for that so I can't really advise on the sugar water.
I don't worry much till the next morning and then I'll dip the end of their bill in the water and show them food by tapping my finger back and forth from the food to water.. and offer the crumbles stuck to my finger to them. Normally they will peck at it and get the idea.
Give it time. Sometimes they are just very tired from hatching.I decided to give the white duckling some sugar water because it was quite weak. It kinda helped but it still just kinda hangs out and doesn't stand up strait

I really could not have been this successful without everyone who helped!Right! Huge round of applause.
