When should I start giving my chicks water?

They must be getting water somehow, otherwise they would be long dead.
Chicks should always have access to fresh water. Don't give them cold water, but room temperature or even a bit warm.

What food do they have? And what does the brooder setup look like?
I agree, every animal needs water or some kind of liquid.

No Water? are you absolutely serious? we can't live 3 DAYS without water! how are they alive?! yes, they will fall ill.

Freshly hatched chicks with zero water for a whole week??? How are they alive?! Is he feeding wet mash?

I'm of the opinion that water is more important than food, almost.
He told me he's feeding them corn starch. I have no idea if that is viable feed since I always use starter feed for my chicks

They're under a hen, as for food he told me he's feeding them corn starch. I don't know if its a good food for them since I always give my chicks starter feed
