Diddnt she have 2 eggs not hatched out yet, so if 1 is out then Julies still got another to crack open and get out yet.

Julie you do know there is only so much coffee I can drink at this time of night, not to mention the amount of smokes im going thru and that a woman can only play so much bejeweled before she cant see the colours anymore

Im guessing that shes ok or she would be here asking questions. So im going to finish my coffee and check in one more time then im going to bed
Julie, if the 2nd egg is still there you need to crack that sucker open, peel back the membrane and if its alive then wet the inner membrane and get the baby out. Im sure your got the other out ok. Ill be checking in tomorrow morning and I hope to hear your Lucky Ducky has a buddy. Good NIght. xx

Now the "Little Fighter" is in bator with damp rag round it. Still moving and making noise. Still in 1/2 the shell but face is uncovered & breathing. It was scary trying to remove the 2nd membrane I seen a little blood & started to freak. i kept softly wiping with warm water over the eye & face,beak to remove the slime/membrane got it all cleared and the blood i seen was very little and appears to be fine. ~DO I LEAVE BABY IN BATOR TO GET OUT OF THE REST OF THE SHELL BY IT SELF? I'm uploading pictures of baby in shell now. By the way I think it was being shrink wrapped because the way membrane was.."shrink wrapping" around baby. The other egg ,baby didn't make it. I was too late maybe yesterday or day before. Thanks e1, ~Julie~ BRB with pictures

He looks good. you can give him a little help to get his head out and he should be able to do the rest himself. Leave his butt in the shell coz he might still be attached

so I can help the baby out a little bit? Cool & I'll leave the butt in the shell for it to get out. TYVM for being here it means a lot & I really needed the pep talk & confidence.

I don't like playing the Doctor lol kinda nerve racking when your not too sure about something. I have to set up another brooder(one a little larger) for 2 baby chicks they will be 2 weeks old tomorrow(Thursday) they were in bator with the duck eggs(2 hatches). wonder if that was the problem with the duck eggs?}}} Don't think I'll do that again. ~ Here is the 2 chicks I hatched.....
