I have hatched lots of darling little frizzle X showgirl chicks this summer but this one went way wrong. My hubby looked at him last night and asked if he should put it out of its misery now.

Why do the wrong colored, ugly ones get the most awesome foot feathering? I will grow him for awhile and hope that his looks improve enough that I can find a home for him. It doesn't help that it's a roo.

He does have pretty olive green eyes from his mama:

But his comb is extra wide and his skin is toooooo pink:

I knew you would like him Dipsy - he is your grandson after all.

I don't like how wide his comb is or how pale his skin is. Or the arch of his beak

If I could get him to you somehow I would gladly give him to you.

Your birds are the foundation of anything frizzle I have at this point. His mama "Jet" is actually very pretty and my bestest mama.

I have another solid black frizzled NN that I just love.

I like him. He's unique.
I bought my brother a black naked neck that looked like a buzzard. He wasn't to thrilled but i loved him.
