If Im not mistaken there was a weight loss thread here..
I was wondering if any of you have/are experiencing starvation mode.
I am 21 have 2 kids and aside from being preggo I the most now than I ever had.
I dont exactly want to put my weight up here because I dont want to get the 'oh youre underweight or oh i bet you look just fine!' or the flat out 'SHUT UP!' kinda thing.
I know what looks good for my body type and what Im at right now is not good.
Lets see...
About a year ago I bumped up 4lbs. I did not like this and started watching what I was eating. No matter what I ate my weight would be +/- a pound.
Winter months came and my outdoor activity stopped (I hate hate hate the cold weather...)and my weight went up another 3 lbs. I started restricting myself even more.
Now that its warming up and Ive been working out in the yard I would have expected to have dropped but no! Its always +3lbs or -3lbs from the +.
I know the +3 lbs sounds silly but when you add all the weight up its 10 lbs! So I range from day to day 7 to 10 lbs weight gain.
Ive cut out my breakfast to a cup of coffee and maybe a piece of fruit for lunch Ill eat a peanut butter and honey sandwich, a light snack, and dinner (which we use to eat rolls everynight but Ive cut that out..)
Ive even cut soda out and Im STILL gaining weight and its always around my stomach, like I have a spare tire..
Ive become completely unhappy with my eating life. Its to the point where nothing sounds good anymore.
I dont know if I have tricked my body into starvation mode or if Im still eating too much or eating wrong...
I know I should exersize more..
I use to do 500 crunches a day followed by 500 leg lifts.. Then it got boring doing the same thing everyday. I cant run out here in fear of being abducted or talked to by some weird neighbor or something....
I dont know where to go with this now.
Anyone experienced anything like this?
