My hubby has never said no to me. We discuss new animal additions to the house. Normally, my hubby has good reasons for not getting new animals and I agree. But it is always a joint decision.

For example, I would like a new kitten. We have two dogs, one who is aging. It is difficult to pay medication for our ageing dog, so it would be unfair to get a kitten. That is a fair reason and my logical side agrees.

If I pushed the issue though, he would probably go get me the kitten.

He sort of likes me, after all.

My wife has always been the one who tried to put her foot down about everything. Every thing no matter how minor or trivial was a huge issue to her. I finally put my foot down and she is not allowed in my house.

Yep my house. Was mine and totally paid for long before I met her. I have been posting a little in the past few days.

I can't even imagine my wife's or my wanting an animal(s) and the other saying, "No."
What's it any of her or my place to "forbid". It just simply would not happen around here. I'd have and could have a little milk cow, BUT she's too lazy to milk it, so...
