When to reintroduce

My baby peeps are around 3 to 4 weeks old now. Mama Zoe has started to eye the flock across the yard when she hears them and at night when we go out to feed she paces the fence, seeming for that moment to ignore the babies. What age do you start to slowly introduce them to an established flock of hens and one big roo? I don't want to do it too soon.
