When will he crow? Black Orpington?

Welcome! Out of 5 roosters that I have only one was consistently crowing for a good long while the others didn't start crowing till they were almost 3-4 months old! Now holy cow they all go at it at once!!

Doesn't look anything like my Orp boy (who is now 25 weeks and not a peep out of him).

Thank you! I love this picture. I'm sure yours will grow out to be just as handsome. I'm amazed at 25 weeks not a peep. If and when he crows, please post here. I'd love to know when.

Welcome! I don't have any black Australorps now, but yours looks just like the pullets I used to have.

Check the bottoms of his feet. If they are pink, he is an Australorp. If they are yellow, he is a Jersey Giant.

I checked this morning. I'm leaning towards pink/flesh color so I'll go with Australorp. Thank you!
