I'm in the same boat as you are. My black orpington laid her first egg last Thursday

, no egg on Friday

, then we got a second egg Saturday

. We didn't get one on Sunday

nor today

.

Actually, i thought i was picking on you again LOL....I thought the two words kinda went together.
I live in MASS......We talk normal.

My DH has a friend from up there and I have to ask him to talk slower and not use any slang terms because I can't understand a dang word that comes out of his mouth. I think the only people who talk normal are people from Arizona. No accent what so ever.

Now back to my pullet laying eggs:
I need to give her a name too. Anyway, Lt. Bok Bok was giving her some roo lovin and bit her comb which then caused blood to pour down her face. I scoop her up and carry her in the house so I can wash off the blood, rub on some peroxide and then I put some antibiotic (spelling?) cream on it. I carried her back to the chicken yard and heard some bok boking in the hen house. It was one of me EE's, Purdy. She was in a nest box just sitting there boking. Then she got up and went back outside to eat some grass.

I told DH that my Barred Rock (the one that laid the first egg) wants to pay me for cleaning up her boo boo so she went into the hen house jumped up into her same nest box she was in before and right now as I type she's laying me an egg.
