When you find something, do you turn it in?

Hi! Yes, I turn in/return things I find --- anywhere.
If I find your sunglasses I'll send them to you. Do they have any distinguishing marks that I should look for? Just kidding!
I imagine the reason they weren't turned into 'lost&found' is someone accidently stepped on them in the floor where you dropped them and they were just thrown in the trash.

I once found a wallet with $230 in it and had every intention of finding the person and returning the wallet. While searching for ID with an address, I came across the persons Registered Sex Offender card. I kept the money and called it good. Wasn't no way I was gonna go find a sex offender no matter how they wound up with that moniker.
