My flock is 6 1/2 months old and nan eggs. And thoughts or suggestions? Much appreciated, thanks.

But I am sure that when they do indeed start to lay... You will have a lovely collection of eggs and pullets. What breeds do you have at the moment? (That may play a role in it too. But it most likely needs a bit of time for their production).
They are still deep in the chickens fannies Gary. A lot of us are right there with you. My only suggestion don't squeeze them it doesn't help. Oh and welcome to the waiting room.![]()

It's a possibility they are hiding their eggs if they free range, I was letting my Australorps out to free range and figured out why I wasn't getting any eggs in the nest box. Sure enough I saw where she was going and found the eggs. My girls always lay late in the day so I now just keep them in and they lay every other day sometimes every day on the nest boxThey are free range. Would it help if i kept them in the coop for a few days with the nesting boxes?
