Where are the Blue eggs???

Well I ave a mixed flock! 14 EE's, 4 CM, 4 Brahmas, and some RIR's I let them free range some time and lately I have NO blue eggs!! the others ar laying but is it possible that all the EE's are off at the same time??

There is no place in my yard for them to hide a nest, Coincidence??

My blue egger has been intermittent since day 1. But she has turned it off for the last month and I am assuming because of the winter months setting in. She lost her tail feathers and is maybe molting??? Looks funny without them. Oh well, all my other breeds are still giving me eggs. Go figure.

Are they just too young? Some breeds take longer to start laying.

Well I guess they have stopped for the season! they are all over a year old and seems to be healthy
I went from 28 eggs a day to 6 today and the weather is not cold!!!
have 12 roosters to process tomorrrow so I will get something from my birds!

My Ameracuana stopped laying sometime in Dec. Today i got my first egg from her .. Yeah! The days are getting a bit longer and their rest period is coming to an end. I can't begrudge her a rest period. She is so sweet and lays the prettiest blue egg. I noticed my other hens have picked up a bit too. Gloria Jean
