Where are the eggs?

10 days ago we found our first egg!!!! And haven't seen one since then... is this normal? We got them as chicks in April. I let them out every morning and they free range on our 15 acre property all day. Ever since I found the first egg (in the coop) I have been checking under trees, behind fences and Anywhere else I can think of... Haven't seen any eggs since then. We have 8 chickens and a rooster that are all the same age.

Check the yard. I just found 8 eggs in the pine needles/ferns when I thought the leghorn stopped laying for a week.
