where are the Stay at home moms!

I was a single mom for 8 years. Before I had my son I always pictured myself as a stay at home Mom. Well life just doesn't always work out the way you plan, does it?! When my son was 12 I married my knight in shining armor ( ok a shining semi

). Shortly after that DS was in a serious accident and needed 24 hour care. I quit my part time job. My family really liked having me home so DH said I could finally be a SAHM!!!! Granted DS is 15 now but he still can not be home alone due to seizures, an after affect of his accident. Even if he could, I would not give this up. I love doing things for my family. It IS a hard job, but definitely the most rewarding job I have had!

I am a stay at home mom I guess you could say. I go to college full time, I work prn as a prof. butt wiper. (hey somebody has to do the job) No actually I like being a CNA but would rather be the "RN" I am gonna be in 2 years! I have 19 chickens now and currently I have 2 incubators full, and 7 due on sunday or monday. I am new to this group and love it already. I agree with the saying.... Chickens are like potato chips you can't have just one!

I love all my girls, and My 2 roos. A dog. and 2 kids, and a fiance!

We struggled financially forever. His hospital bills were astronomical. We finally paid them off when he was 10 yrs. old. Wouldn't change a minute of it.
Once they were old enough to stay at home by themselves, my father passed away and I started to take care of my now 86 yr. old mom.
Haven't worked outside of the home for 20 years.
