Don't forget to buy a pair of muck boots , rain mud and chicken poop.
See and I would need a huge flock for them to be able to eat the grass in their run, but they don't like their run at all they prefer to free range. Only return to their pen if I go in there to work as they have me conditioned to throw a bit of scratch when they ask. I do have a dedicated pair of muck flipflops that do not enter the house, but often i'm just lazy and barefoot. Poop just doesn't bother me much unless the chicken are walking in it and the coop looks a mess.

True story...I put those rascals in my lips as I get my hook ready while fishing. As for the chickens taking it from my mouth...lol...I have a ginormous Chocolate Lab that eats lunchmeat from my mouth. Lol. I'm just an all around crazy animal person.:eek:

First off, congrats on getting your new little chook family all together again! Yay, a whole new world is going to open up to you! You will be doing things that you never thought you would haha.
You also sound like you belong on the thread "I'm never gonna get an egg" Where a bunch of us crazy chicken peeps hang out and post our crazy outfits and antics with our chickens!

Baking thread? I make bread like I raise chicken, simple and as cheap as possible I am going to have to find that thread.
