Where did they come from???

Yeah, the lab is a 4-legged garbage disposal. He snatches full boxes of donuts...eats the box and all...in 2.2 seconds. lol But...he's not a ravenous beast when taking food from my mouth. He's in slow motion...and gentle. :)
Yep my girl pulls the used toilet paper rolls from the trash and eats them all. Chocolate Labs are something else.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been searching to try a figure out what they are but so many look the same....at least to me. lol
Do you happen to know why all the others seem to pick on Bashful?
On a more serious note:
I hate to reply in such small doses but I tend to spend time genuflecting a lot. Does Bashful have any signs of visible skin breaks that the chicken might be pecking at? I do not have personal experience here but other chicken have been known to peck an injured bird to death and the experienced people in this forum keep spray on purple or blue stuff to help prevent that behavior from becoming deadly.

I'm not sure....I'll have to check her when I get home from work. I know this may sound stupid...but do I push the feathers back to look? Or will I notice missing feathers as a sign? Jeesh, I hope they don't kill her! I'll be devastated... The run is getting bigger this weekend. I only have weekends to do projects.

I have used the pick no more. It is kind of thick like wood glue. I smeared it on the head of a picked on Polish. Poor thing was missing her whole head poof.
It is purple and sticks well to skin and feathers. It also stains like mad so wear a glove like a food service disposable to avoid purple fingers for a month.
