Slapped a little paint on the coop and did a little Fort Knoxing too. Didn't get to the run as my faithful laborer had to work yesterday. The "kids" paid no mind to my working on the coop until I started with the painter's tape...the fascination was astounding...

Lol...thanks! I wish the whole thing was finished though... Only being able to dabble on the weekends...and the shortened days...and rain are really a pain in the butt to get anything accomplished.

Chickens are addictive little buggers... I find myself spending the majority of my day trying to learn about them, improve their digs...worrying about The Crud ( I don't like the name coccidiosis, so I renamed it The Crud ) Found droplets of blood yesterday and had a panic attack. Bought Corid for now...and probiotics for after...and treats to celebrate being Crud free! Feathers are flying all over the place but that's a normal molting thing I've read...so I'm not breathing into a paper bag just yet with that...yet....
