my new coop has two rooms the silkies are in the other room it is the birds that worry me it is our outside cats because they are so small I am afraid if they are in general population they would be killed by our 3 outside

They are just stunning!
I was just looking at pictures of those Silkies...omgosh little fuzzballs of cuteness!

Silkies are lovely, but I say they have rocks for brains. Definitely not the smartest chicken you'll ever meet.
oh, and silkies come in a wide (even extra-wide) range of quality. The really fluffy ones are usually only from serious breeders. But there are some great breeders here on BYC.

I just love the ones that look like they are wearing furry pac boots and sporting fros. Lol

breeder of mine is local here in Washington state I dare to call her a friend now she is serious about her gang these are not breeder quality they are her pet rejects
maybe mine are part that do not have brains they will sit in my lap

depending on where you found the photos they may be hers
