hang in upside down chicken wire over it so the air can go under her skirts
might see if you can get a smaller one it has to be suspended for a few days after a few days see if she is broke or hang her back up

oops well need to be brief meeting one of our state folk to pickup Marans hatching eggs going to babysit 7 cockerel for 5 days then haul them to auction here there Pop lives in Eastern Washington they do not have poultry auctions there
 
It doesn't necessarily need to be suspended. When I make a broody breaker, I set a brick under each corner to he it a couple inches up off the ground. Still works just as good.
I took your advice but instead of bricks, I just added "legs" to the bottom of the thing that was built. Thanks!
