Where do I go to find good show quality silkies?

I think it is very sad that a few people set out to ruin one persons name especially when most of Bobbies customers are very pleased with their birds.

I have exchanged many emails with Bobbie and she is very helpful and honest about the birds she has for sale. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" When we sell a adult call duck or chicken we give our honest opinion on the quality of the bird, but not everyone sees eye to eye when it comes to judging a bird. Sometimes there is a fault on our bird that we honestly missed, we are human just like every one of you. I am sure Bobbie didn't intentionally ship a inferior bird to make a quick buck......why would she want to chance her reputation by doing so?

Someone just sent me the link to this and I am so grateful that people really notice how much I care for my birds (and their caretakers). It was real nice reading all the sweet things you all are saying.

Yes, I do raise a LOT of chicks every year (my name is Bobbi and I hatch chickens) and a couple times, someone has gotten some that I wish hadn't. They don't like something about them and won't send them back for a full refund. What else can I do? I can't take them from them by force. It saddens me for someone to have a precious Silkie of mine that I could have found a wonderful home for.

I could sit here and rat on the people who wronged me and lied about me, but it would do no good. I figure every now and then, God has to teach you fortitude so you will appreciate the wonderful people in your life... because they are all that matters.

I try to be kind, live honestly and leave the rest to God. If I do have a misfit, I always offer a nice one for free with it to a loving home. Usually one of it's buddies.

You all are the greatest. I want you to know how much I appreciate the kind words. It makes my hobby worthwhile. Silkies are such beautiful creatures and I have learned so much from Alan, Alice and George, who have all visited and gone over every bird on my place while they were here! Alan many times. He usually comes for the fair in February.

Yes, Amy, I promised Doris Robinson I'd start showing again. Starting with the fair.
We are having fun with the English Cockers right now.

Bobbi you do have amazing birds. I hope to meet you at Nationals someday.

When we are out in the coops sweating our butts off doing chores, just smile! The hard work all pays off in the end.

btw.... I finally worked up the courage to get on my horse again today. This is the first time since last november when I dislocated my hip again. This is the same horse that originally hurt me so bad 7 years ago. I was super nervous and was sure my horse was going to be full of piss and vinegar. She took care of me though. I guess you just have to have a little faith and take a chance.

Folks, I have cleaned out some stuff that really didn't belong here and put this back so the OP could continue looking for breeders of show quality Silkies. So, if someone has a suggestion for him/her, please post it and keep personal feuds off the board. Thanks for your cooperation.

I will have some eggs & chicks available in the near future. Have sold almost completely out! My lines are George Mahilik, ChickEdee Farms, & IndigoEgg. I carry White, Splash & Blue.

Hi Vickie, do you have any Splash eggs for sale? I need to hatch more Splash and my girls just aren't laying much, and we share 2 of the same lines. I have George and Bobbi's lines. I really hope you can sell me some eggs.
