Here in Woodinville, we're about 30 minutes from the coast...and from the mountains

Not too much sun--like CA; and enough rain to make a UK-er feel like home!

And, nice, temperate weather--the snowfall this year was unbelievable, but still, we only had snow on the ground for about two weeks, max! Summer highs are around 90 degrees, winter lows at 20-ish. (And it's really NOT that spread out...

We have pizza delivery!

And we have a shopping mall 15 minutes in either direction, too...and OK, so sometimes the traffic is bad, but we do have a good bus system. Yup, Washington is the place for you!

However I think my cousin is really my aunt not sure how that happened, but being from deep south Georgia.....

Anyway,

I was raised in Georgia (near Tallahassee Florida)
lived in New Mexico
lived in South Carolina (near Charlteston and Greenville)
lived in Florida (stationed at 4 different bases)
lived in North Carolina,

traveled to most large cities in the US and in my opionion so far..........

I like North Ga mountains, foothills of North Carolina, Eastern Tennesse
parts of Kentucky, for the weather, the nice sized medium sized towns and plenty of beautiful somewhat affordable land. Problem with that for me is my job requires large cities, that's why I drive 100 miles a day.

Offspring, many great places and reasonable prices in U.S.. But research is the key.

Sure, I could suggest Missouri, plenty of relatively inexpensive acreage (and that's with water). However, the real estate guys will show you something like this:

Like to climb Mountains? Our Mt. Monadnock in NH is the second most climbed mountain in the world...and beat out Mt. Fuji's title as number one for 2003. But since is back to second.
