Where to buy adult ducks?

One of my ducks went missing and my other duck is very upset, so I’m going to buy him a friend. Does anyone know where I can buy them, and how to introduce a new duck to my flock?

I would look on Craigslist if I were you for a companion. To introduce a new duck to a flock, keep it in quarantine for about a week and monitor it away from your flock. If it's looking healthy, then put it in the coop at night, so the other duck doesn't go after it. Plus, it's less stressful all around for the newbie at dark.

Try petfinder. I got 2 adult Pekns from the Humane society. They said hens get adopted out quickly, drakes are harder to find homes for. They had about 8 there when I got my guys.

You could also go to your local Tractor Supply Co. leave a “Wanted” sign or ask if you could have the contact for their duck partner. All TSC get their ducks from locals so they may have older ducks willing to sell!

I can sell you two or three adult ducks, SWH, but you have to pick them up, I'm slightly north of Asheville, NC
