Where'd all my eggs go?

I have a few broody girls and I didn't even think that them hogging the nest boxes could be the problem... Rather than trying to cure the broody girls, I think I'll just add more boxes... Seems to be the logical thing to do.

UPDATE:
We've been bathing our broody girls for the past few days and our egg numbers have increased. Not quite to where they used to be, but every other day we get anywhere from 20-30 eggs and 8-12 on the alternate days... It's still crazy hot so I'm sure that counts for something.

Thanks for all the help!!

?!?!?!?

I read a thread that said to break broody hens, their underside needs to be cooled off. Some people used ice packs/cold rags under the hens while they were in the nesting boxes, and others would use water (hose temperature) in a wading pool and just let them hangout in there for a little bit. We chose the wading pool because ice sounded too cold.
