Which breed are you most likely to buy

I personally love my araucanas for their eggs and looks, but you obviously won't find them at a feed store

They are cute but impossible to find around here and they have that lethal gene which makes them hard to hatch

My feed store has them all the time! Tractor supply! I only have one bc my others are different breeds, but I always look at the chickies and they are there quite often.

Araucanas or ameracanas I can barely find anything over here besides RIRs

I can guarantee that TSC does not sell araucana chicks. They sell Americanas, but they 100% do not sell araucanas

Feed stores sell Americanas -- a fancy name for Easter Eggers.

Actual Ameraucanas come in specific, named color varieties and cost about $20 for a sexed pullet chick. Check them out from Cackle -- they're beautiful.

You're welcome and yeah you should definitely get one, one of my Easter Egger pullets just came in the lag today she had the most beautiful blue-green first egg I've ever seen
