Which breed chicken?

Just picked up a small flock from a coworker who is moving. He bought the chicks at the farm store as unsexed 6. He had 4 survive. 2 rooster and 2 hens, each pair look nearly identical. I thought they were all RIR but after looking at RIR hen pictures on Google, I think they are too light. Thanks for any help. The hens haven't started laying and I am curious if they will be good laying hens.

This is the only other good picture I took of them. I may take some more. They are pretty light compared to a RIR. The tail feathers are black.
