Which breed should I get?

I am just starting out and I want to buy three hens for laying. I need them to be docile and easily tamed and to get on with each other as well as being good layers. Which breed would be best for this purpose?

Although I've never had any of the production breeds (such as Isa Browns, Red Sex Links, and Black Sex Links) they seem to have a reputation for being fabulous layers and possessing great dispositions. Actually, my uncle owns an Isa Brown, and she happens to be his very favorite above all the others. The only bad thing is that production birds lay in astounding numbers for merely a year or two, even though there probably are exceptions. Another breed that is really good for cranking out the eggs is the Black Australorp, and most people who have them seem to love them. Ours gives us beautiful coffee and cream colored eggs. But, my personal pick is the Barred Rock. All the BRs we've ever had have been wonderful; they are the sweetest birds in our flock, and they lay wonderfully.
