Which breeds of roosters may I use?

You can still sell hybrid hatching eggs with just one cockerel and have some pure breed ones as well. I personally don’t think you need five or will have much success with five. They might not all be active with the hens because of the other cockerels and there will be fights over the hens. For hybrid backyard breeding all you need is one cockerel, if you wanted to shake it up, separate your area into two to have two flocks and rotate the cockerels.

I think that light sussex and barred plymouth rock roosters are good choices too.
I had australorp blacks, wonderful, but they were laying a very small egg.
RIR and New Hampshires are a good choice too, but I think that they are a bit agressive, much more bossy than the others I mentioned.

I wouldnt get anymore than five for now, see how that goes. You can always have a few months with a cockerel and swap him out for a different one. Do you plan on hatching any of the eggs yourself? If so, what will you do it's the cockerels that hatch? Mine will be going to friends for breeding or meat purposes.

Well, I will buy 10 black rock pullets (the hybrid ones, not the Plymouth ones) and 15 leghorn pullets I will use on them a buff laced polish roo and a gold laced polish roo.

Which comb type will the offsprings have? A mystery!!!

How many offsprings will have a crest? A mystery too.

I think the male chicks will have the hens’ combs. And I think all the chicks will be partially crested. Not sure what colours they will throw, not too good on colour genetics. Nice selection though

What do you mean by black Rock, the hybrid ones? Black sex links?

Comb type of offspring will be V-type or a variant. Offspring from the Leghorns will be mostly white with maybe splotches of black. Offspring from the "Rocks" will depend on what cross they are.
