Going to break this batch up this weekend. Culling at least 3. Growing quick look and feel good. Could let them go awhile but starting to exhibit gamefowl tendencies lol. This is where things start going sideways when people that aren't experienced in games want to get and raise some. And when theyre not ready it's the chickens fault. Sorry it's yours not theirs

What are game fowl tendencies, and what is it that people do wrong?

They start fighting early and people that aren't experienced with them are caught off guard that it happens soo soon and it's not a pecking order sort of thing like regular poultry. They fight to the death. Alot of people believe that it will be different or just does not know and it catches them off guard cause they are not ready to start housing singles or pairs or trios. The males must be housed individually weather with a female or 2 or not. And then when they start fighting and the owner is not ready they blame it on the chickens. After this weekend the 3 throwbacks and the smallest regular looking stag will be culled and then I'll have 4 stags individually penned and one pullet with one of the stags.
