The Colt was born here at work. Someone lost their place and moved 5 bred mares here but out in the pasture.
Idk really anything about them except they're all brown mares.
But ya we have 4 more due soon.

A grey horse is born brown. But if you see two or three grey hairs in the eyebrow area, you can be sure it's a grey, and every year it will shed out lighter and lighter until by about age three there is no doubt it will mature grey. Or you can shave half of it, like I did, to prove to a doubtful spouse that you know whereof you speak.

A grey horse can be born any color.
