Encanto was really well done IMO. Plus Dolores and Camillo are adorable.Me and my 6 year old have watched Encanto at least 6 times.
I made those mistakes with #1 and #2 and all it did was lead them to resent things. with the last 2 we push them, but we don't force them and it's working out better for us. They're more open to considering things after thinking about it for a bit, and we find they get more out of it if they come in willingly. I'm not saying this is every parent/kid relationship and I would not presume to tell anyone how to raise their child processes. This is just what's working for us (today).I made mine watch it. Also made him watch Turning Red. Told him it was educational
Mine was watching horror movies with his dad when he was like 6. *sigh* eventually learned to pick my battlesPretty much the only things I let my kids watch are Clifford and Little House on the Prairie.
No Bonanza? Or Green Acres?Little House on the Prairie.
Green Acres is dumb. I will probably let them watch Bonanza when they're older and can follow plots better. No Bonanza? Or Green Acres?
Oh I rarely do that. Most things he goes along with. Turning Red was just funny because he was complaining the whole time "13 year old girls aren't like that!!" Ah, yes child, yes they areI made those mistakes with #1 and #2 and all it did was lead them to resent things. with the last 2 we push them, but we don't force them and it's working out better for us.
