Bars are an inch apart. I'm guessing that's too far apart for zebra finches. They're pretty small. 🤔
That's pretty wide. Definitely too big for any of the smaller parrot species. And honestly, the cage itself is very small. I think the only thing you could really put in there are finches or canaries. But you would have to figure something out for the bars, because they're much too wide for those birds.

That's what I thought. Judging by bar spacing and that wood perch on the top it looked like the cage was meant for a large parrot or something but the cage itself seems far too small to keep a bird of that size in permanently.
I'm really not looking to keep any bird larger than a cockatiel and if this cage is too small for cockatiels I'll either have to figure something else out or clean up the cage and sell it. 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, that cage is definitely too small for cockatiels, unfortunately. You have to keep in mind that with the tail, a cockatiel is about 12 inches long, and has a 20-24 inch wingspan.

That should not be a thing
Agreed. I enjoy watching the broody gals raise babies. But, sometimes it ain’t the time for it. I have a Dom that I just don’t have the room to separate her and she has gone broody twice this Spring. She’ll set on the nest for a couple weeks and give up finally.

I'm open to bird suggestions. :pop
I've always thought zebra finches were adorable and like their noises but @SundownAviaries mentioned that they can be mean. ☹️
Zebra finches will not work in that cage

Cockatiels can live 30 years

I think you mean cockatoo, not cockatiel. No way is my cockatiel's wing span almost 2 feet
