I think it’s more common in smaller dogs maybe. I’ve noticed a lot of them have house training issues in general.

I wonder if that's because people don't treat little dogs like they would big dogs.

Those stupid puppy pee pads don't help. Teaching the dog to pee inside, makes no sense. We bell trained Thor. Anytime he needs to go out, he rings a small bell we have attached to the wall. My sister did the same with her great dane

It never made sense to me why people did that, except that it might be more convenient at the time. I don't see how it makes any sense in the long run.

That's true. People put those dogs in their purses or shopping carts and think they can take them into grocery stores. I don't want your nasty dog by the food I might buy. Keep that crap outta the grocery stores

The only good thing about pee pads is how handy they are for so many other things. Like baby chicks.

Eh. Charlotte pees on the floor if she's in a mood or it's raining out. She's an australian shepeherd, and she's 6.
