.... the chicks, of course! Five of them this morning. So cute! When I walked through the door of the Post Office, I could hear them cheeping. [IMG]
I have them ensconced in my laundry room (this should make dealing with dirty clothes a lot more fun [IMG]) in a cardboard brooder. They look quite comfortable, and all are drinking, eating and offering fertilizer. [IMG]
My daughter, who is down from BYU for the summer wondered what in the world was her Mother doing ordering chickens?
    We are all in love!
By the way, I ordered these little fluffballs from My Pet Chicken, a sponsor of this forum. The chicks arrived healthy and curious, each is a breed that I ordered, and they came the day that MPC stated they would.
*I'm extremely pleased with the company. [IMG]*

The brooder isn't 'huge' ~ honest. [IMG] It's a large cardboard box from which they will probably be sailing over in a couple of weeks!

I purchased one each of five different breeds, all quite docile. At least, that's the plan.

    Barred Rock
    Blue Cochin
    Buff Orpington
    Golden Laced Wyandotte

All very healthy, busy chicks. [IMG]
