I can't seem to decide which one to use, I need to pick the best.

#2 made me laugh too. I found it in a book of very serious-sounding proverbs, so it stood out.

#7 was also in the book of proverbs.

#7 is so true, as I know from experience milking a cow. Stripping the udder takes a good deal of patience since the cow is almost empty and there's really not much left in there, and sometimes you want to just pull the udder off. But if you did that, you'd never get milk again.

Looking at it logically, however, it's rather impossible to pull a cow's udder off....
