White Cochin 5.5 weeks

If this is another Roo (have an exchequer leghorn roo and a couple of Wyandottes I am watching) then Meyer really missed the boat on my “pullet” orders.

This Cochin feathered out very quickly, the pinkish red has showed up this week. Cockerel?

okay! Even with the reddening comb and wattles this early? Do Cochins just develop combs/wattles faster than other breeds, maybe?

Pullets can flush. The comb and wattles are quite small still.

Are they always that red now? If so, at 5.5 weeks, a LF Cochin cockerel could be starting to hit a comb maturity spurt.

The combs are red but they are small so probably pullet(s)
